Excited that corporate events are back!

Just how excited am I about level 1 events being back on the radar?

While we’ve been focused on the video marketing and media comms side of the business we still have events as an important part of what we do and who we are – we love live events where we get to engage and have a real impact on peoples enjoyment factor.

Although there’s been a massive uptake in virtual and online comms through the Covid crisis there is still a basic human need to interact live and in person; and that need is about to be unleased.

You know the most successful brands all make their major announcements through a live event – like Apple for example. Companies and association groups all invest time and money in their cultures, staff and clients by hosting events.

Live events provides vital fuel for business growth and is an investment in the culture and staff of an organisation. Events give like-minded people the opportunity to form more meaningful connections, with lots of opportunity to share their experience on social media and go virtual.

How can we help you?

essential services workers: THEY ARE OUR HEROES

The COVID-19 pandemic turned many of our essential services workers into heroes. Here are some of the jobs our heroes did to keep us safe and healthy during the lockdown.

• Safety, law and government services
• medical doctors and nurses
• Emergency management officer.
• Army soldier.
• Firefighter.
• Police officer.
• Security officer/guard.

While we are focused on the media & marketing comms and storytelling, video side of our business, the events side of enthuse media & events has taken quite a hit.

We had two conferences this month cancel where we were providing MC and entertainment support… It’s been a while since we’ve performed so this morning I wanted to dedicate an iconic David Bowie song to our essential workers – they are our heroes!

EVENT LIFE; JOHN’S BACKSTORY

I worked out pretty early on in life what spun my wheels… and it revolved around events and media and having an impact on how people were feeling!

After starting out life as a journalist I headed off to Otago University where I had some fantastic, and very enjoyable years.

With a bit of spare time on my hands after attending lectures I immersed myself in the university experience, giving birth to opportunities in media and events.

I share this story about some early valuable event experience I gained and would love to hear some stories about early experiences you’ve had that helped shape where you are today
