The Maisey Group’s 70th celebration in Hamilton
As an very successful organisation driven by constant innovation across multiple industries both in New Zealand and overseas the Maisey Group was especially keen on a high quality, memorable event at the Atrium at Wintec in Hamilton to celebrate 70 years in business.
This event is a great example of how enthuse can package up a number of event and media services that saves our clients time and money.
We provided:
- event management that included pre planning and fine tuning the theme
- Improvisation and themed character actors as welcome hosts – a Hollywood style red carpet paparazzi welcome that included filming the guests on the red carpet
- The MC
- The entertainment; our popular Singing Waiters
enthuse rolled out our red carpet paparazzi welcome using some additional ‘actors’ from the local operatic society to work alongside our Chief Enthusiast who manned the red carpet interviewing and filming guests on arrival while our Singing Waiters got to work serving up their own special kind of service as the function got underway.
Our roving red carpet reporter quickly edited up the interview footage and then shaved off his facial hair (grown for the event) to reappear clean shaven in black tie to MC the evening. He kicked things off by showing the red carpet footage filmed earlier in arrival, a great way to start the evening.
The Singing Waiters continued to work the room until after dessert was cleared and it was announced there was a problem with the evenings band, but not too worry they’ve got it under control. All was then revealed in a very funny, jaw dropping sequence as joined by the MC the waiters became the band, filling the dance floor and providing a fantastic night of fun, comedy and outstanding world class entertainment!
FEEDBACK:
We had John and his team provide ‘outstanding’ entertainment for a Triple 70th Celebration in Hamilton – wow I can’t explain how fantastic the entire experience was, from the initial contact with John where we discussed the many options he can offer, to the concise organisation and communication of how the event would run. John made three magnificent wardrobe changes throughout the evening, from crazy paparazzi on red carpet, to professional MC in a black dinner suit and into an outrageous Rocky Horror number. This had our guests questioning all night who he was and still many guests didn’t know it was the same person. The singing waiters were also fantastic and totally had our guests fooled, but so entertaining. Stories of the evening are still being discussed and many laughs still had. I would certainly recommend John and his enthuse company.
